Customisable Filtration Solutions
Our candle filters are highly customisable, providing solutions for thin-cake pressure filtration, cake washing, drying, re-slurry, automatic discharge, and heel filtration. These filters are particularly effective in clarification and recovery applications, handling liquids with low solids content ranging from 5% to less than 1%, and even down to trace amounts.
Enhanced Safety Features
S2 Candle Filters offer a safer alternative to traditional leaf filters, particularly when filtering hazardous materials such as carbon. In traditional leaf filters, carbon must be manually removed, posing significant risks to operators due to its pyro-hazardous nature. Our innovative multi-tube carbon filter design features automatic discharge, safely directing the carbon into a container without manual human contact, significantly reducing the risk of operator exposure.
Optimised Filtration Process
As the filtrate is pumped into the filter, the mother liquor is directed to an ML tank, while solids accumulate on the filter candles. The wet cake is then discharged using a reverse flush method and collected into a container positioned below the filter. Because the filtration process is entirely contained, S2 Candle Filters are ideal for handling solvents, concentrated acids, and other toxic products, ensuring a safer and more efficient operation.
