V-Type Blenders: Precision Mixing Solutions
S2 Engineering (S2) specialises in designing, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning a diverse range of custom-built blenders, including V-Type Blenders (also known as V-Shell, Vee Cone, or Y Cone blenders). Our V-Type Blenders are expertly engineered for low shear tumble blending of powders and granules, making them ideal for use in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, and Life Sciences industries.
Innovative Design
S2’s V-Type Blenders are designed to deliver intensive mixing action. The V-Shell rotates, causing the powder to be repeatedly divided and blended together. Typically, powder is introduced into the V-Blender via a drum. This drum is securely attached to the V-Shell’s inlet orifice, and both the drum and V-Shell are inverted by the blender through 180 degrees, allowing the powder to fall into the V-Shell under gravity. After the drum is removed, blending commences.
